Sample Plan for New Students
The sample shows a typical plan to complete the degree based on current degree requirements and course offerings, and is not the only possible plan. The number of credits for each course is in parentheses. Some classes have prerequisites, and the order of courses in the sample plan accounts for these. Each new student, in consultation with their advisor, will complete a personal academic plan tailored to their specific goals and interests.

Curriculum Notes
- All Albers courses require a C- or better including MATH 1130 or Calculus. Transfer credit for Albers courses requires a C or better.
- Students that do not place into Math 1130 or Calculus will need to complete the prerequisites: MATH 1023 & 1024 or MATH 1026.
- Students must complete all business foundation courses, except for BLAW 3700 and OPER 3600, before taking MGMT 4890. BLAW 3700 and OPER 3600 can be taken in the same term as MGMT 4890.
- Students must earn a B- or better grade in FINC 3400 to continue in the Finance major.
- Excel Level I Certification must be completed before graduation.
